External logging

The external logging describes the possibility of creating a data image. You can log into a database as well as into a file system.

External logging is always set to the entire data source, with all its variables included. There are 2 options for external logging:


  1. Data image

A subtraction of the current value of the variable from the data source is created.


  1. Data log

A log is created which shows the changes of the variables.
