Sending e-mail by control events

Select a control element that you want to link to the QuickHMI e-mail function. In this example a button is selected.

Add a desired click event in the "Settings" under "Action" and create a new action function.

A detailed description of the actions of controls can be found in the "Actions" chapter.

Use the command "SEND_EMAIL" and select the previously saved e-mail template.

Confirm the entries with the green Check Icon to save. After this, close the window.

Now, by every button click, you will receive an email with the content you defined. This is the simplest example for the use of e-mail templates.

Far more realistic is the use of e-mails when variable values change, and alarms are activated.
